Drugged-out zombie cities are looking like a casting call for a George Romero horror flick
For two years, Joe Biden and his team of parasites have been poisoning America in countless ways. But seriously, folks, who hasn’t noticed?
From Biden’s creepily relentless quest to trap children into transgender ideology, to his constant demonization of responsible parents, to his insatiable hatred of anyone who thinks America should be made great again, the wooden-headed-puppet-president’s venom keeps flowing.
It takes literal form at the border with Mexico, where Biden’s most deadly poison crosses daily: the illicit drug trade that sends evil unabated evil into American cities large and small.
If you don’t live near or in one of these drug-ridden cities, you may not have witnessed the bizarre effects these mind-altering drugs – the synthetic opiate fentanyl in particular – have on their users.
But city regulars know the spectacle: People stumbling around senselessly, staring as if on pause when they aren’t ransacking businesses and homes or curled up dead on the street.
The media are filled with images of people injecting, smoking, pushing … barfing.
Out-of-city visitors would not be blamed for thinking they just stumbled onto the set of a George Romero Night of the Living Dead remake, or at least its casting call.
The spectacle is so depressing and surreal it almost feels staged, scripted, and mundane.
Even city dwellers who might have been otherwise upstanding are taking the occasion to do some drug binging: deposit a check, pick up some milk, ingest some poison, return some overdue library books, take a snort.
Sadly, there’s no hint of shame and no attempt to be discreet, much less secretive.
Users can be seen bundled in hodgepodge clothes, shuffling in the streets with needles in their arms, necks, or legs. Multiple videos show zombie-like people stumbling and tottering deliriously to pick up a morning coffee.
Users who teeter on the edge of death: Only 2 milligrams of fentanyl is enough to kill.
Hospital records of overdose patients reveal that even the best-case scenario for a fentanyl overdose is for the user to enter a corpselike stupor on the edge of eternity.
Hospital deaths and treatments for overdoses have skyrocketed, and that does not include people who never made it to the hospital.
The situation in Seattle is so dire local coroners claim they have reached capacity for the dead bodies of drug users. City officials are currently working on plans to establish temporary morgues.
It’s one thing for adults to poison themselves, but children are joining the ranks of the living dead as well.
The number of kids under six overdosing on marijuana edibles has soared by 1,000 percent since 2017, reports the journal Pediatrics.
Even classic weed is being covertly laced with inexpensive fentanyl as dealers try to create new, more dependent customers.
No escape, even for the innocent
Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan states, “It’s so integrated into the drug supply, you really can’t trust any drug that you’re buying on the street.”
More and more, the innocent are victimized. In the last two years, the number of deaths caused by fentanyl has risen 182 percent. In addition, teenage overdoses have increased by 109 percent.
Worst of all, what should be the safest place on Earth has been infiltrated by the drug. The National Institute of Health published a study reporting that a baby is diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome (opioid withdrawal) every twenty-five minutes.
Think about that after taking your half-hour lunch break: A baby was just born with a drug addiction that will cause that child later in life to have breathing problems, fevers, sweating, blotchy skin or seizures.
Ironically, while Americans almost daily see public service announcements or news articles warning about the long-term health risks of smoking tobacco and vaping, liberals remain virtually silent on the evils of drug abuse, let alone on making hard drugs harder to obtain.
In fact, Democrat-run cities seem more inclined to help facilitate drug use than to prevent it.
One action Dem-run cities have taken is to create open-air drug markets, or safe-injection sites, which have never succeeded in decreasing drug use or overdoses anywhere.
Co-founder of Mothers Against Drug Deaths Jacqui Berlinn says the government funds “open-air substance centers in San Francisco – in which addicts can use heroin and other narcotics with protections against fatal overdoses.”
Berlinn argued that they are only keeping her son, who is addicted to drugs, supplied with everything he needs to stay addicted. Over four months, these centers saw 23,367 people, she said, and only 18 were referred to a rehabilitation center.
Another program intended to lower overdose deaths, but simultaneously enable severe drug abuse, is the placement of vending machines that allow people to self-administer a “survival spray” for fentanyl overdoses. Described as “life-saving,” Narcan, or Naloxone, counteracts the effects of fentanyl.
The vending machines are often accessed with codes obtained from homeless shelters. The Narcan dose is even dispensed in a tidy, free box.
Perhaps Biden and Democrat-run city mayors will soon ameliorate criminal violence by stocking vending machines with free Band-Aids for victims of assault.
Enough fentanyl to kill 1.6 billion people
Border patrol officers report that they have seized enough fentanyl to kill every American five times over just in 2023, and we’re only halfway through the second month of the year!
“I’ll do the math for you,” GOP Rep. Tim Burchett (Tenn.) said. “It’s 1.6 billion people, with a ‘b’.”
“Staggering,” said U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman.
Thanks to Joe Biden’s lax border policies, 60 percent of all fake prescription drug pills now contain fentanyl, up 40 percent since Biden’s previous dismal record in 2021. This has resulted in 102,000 annual overdose deaths nationwide.
Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Breen says the drug is now “integrated” into our lives.
The New York Post reports, “In 2022, the Drug Enforcement Administration nabbed more than 379 million lethal doses of the drug (including more than 50 million fake prescription pills) at the border. Yet the Biden team just shrugs.”
Perhaps the Left’s response to the drug crisis reveals their true motives. The Left is crazy but not stupid. They know what they’re doing.
Open-air drug markets, drugs flowing across the border, and free Narcan vending machines are simply tools that allow Biden and his Big-State-Government cohorts to keep people brain dead, lest they think about their country, their future, their families, their votes.
As for that last thing: If dead people can be reliable voters, might not the walking dead be even better?
