In the most recent, tense step in a simmering feud, Muslim Community Patrol & Services (MCP&S) of Brooklyn, N.Y. handed over a former employee to the Bloods gang who was then punched, kicked and body-slammed to the ground in a grueling 31-minute battering, according to a witness.
The fired worker was surrendered over to the Bloods on Dec. 29 in an attempt to settle a nearly three-week long dispute between the two groups. The feud began on Dec. 10 after the former MCP&S employee threw a teenage boy against a fence for verbally “disrespecting” a Muslim woman near a Brooklyn mosque.
Unbeknownst to the MCP&S “patrolman,” the teen was the son of a high-ranking member of the notoriously violent and vindictive Bloods gang on Gates Avenue in Brooklyn.
Following the assault, the Bloods immediately declared all members of MCP&S, including the congregants and leaders of Masjid Taqwa (seen as controlling MCP&S) as “food” for their “dogs.”
The first act of retaliation came only a few days after the initial encounter, when Bloods members severely beat a random Muslim man outside the Masjid Taqwa on Fulton Street. The injured man was taken to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center for emergency medical care.
In an effort to prevent future Bloods violence, leaders of the patrol services fired the MCP&S worker and arranged for a sit-down at the home of the offended father and his teenage son.
During the meeting, described as “tense” by an observer, the Bloods demanded MCP&S either physically hand over the MCP&S worker or provide the Bloods with his address. That request was at first rejected by Ali Karim, serving as a lieutenant under the command of radical Islamic cleric Siraj Wahhaj of Masjid Taqwa.
A few days later, however, Imam Wahhaj overruled Karim’s rejection of the Bloods’ offer and instructed him to deliver the ex-MCP&S worker to the Bloods, with the stipulation that the fired worker would be subjected only to a “fistfight.”
“An eye for an eye,” is how one associate of Siraj Wahhaj characterized the agreement. “That MCP worker threw the boy violently against a fence. He then held on to the back of his neck. That was wrong. And he needed to be punished for it. The Quran teaches an eye for an eye for punishment. Nothing more. So that was the agreement. The Bloods could set up a fight to punch him, but that’s it.”
The fight was set for 9 p.m. on Dec. 29 near the headquarters of the Gates Avenue Bloods gang, though the actual gathering was delayed by an hour.
The ex-worker was accompanied by eight armed Muslims and was delivered to five armed members of the Bloods at around 10 p.m.
In a fight reminiscent of a scene from West Side Story, the Bloods stood on one side of a school playground while Muslims stood on the opposite end. The two combatants were positioned between the factions.
“I’ve never seen a fight like that in all my life,” one observer said. “They fought for 31 minutes, because that’s the rule of the Bloods, you fight for 31 minutes.”
The ex-MCP&S officer, known as Ahmed, was described as fighting “feebly” and being “too fearful” to fight back. He was body-slammed to the ground, punched in the face, stomped and kicked in the head for the entire 31 minutes. His Bloods opponent “didn’t come out with any marks at all,” the source said.
“I think Ahmed was really scared,” said the observer. “He was like that guy’s b—-. But he knew if he started to whale on that Blood guy, the other Blood members would probably have shot him.”
“The Bloods don’t like to fight,” said the source. “They’re into shooting. Ahmed got maybe seven to eight punches in, but he got hurt pretty bad. He got his a– whipped.”
After the conclusion of the fight, Ahmed reportedly apologized to the father for touching his son.
The Bloods member responded by telling Ahmed that he needed to thank Ali, because “he saved your life.” If it weren’t for Ali, he would have shot him, the father said. Ahmed was also warned that if he ever put his hands on another Bloods member, they would “blow his head off.”
Besides demanding that the ex- MCP&S worker be turned over, the Bloods also demanded that Muslim Community Patrol & Services keep their police-looking vehicles out of the Gates Avenue area.
MCP&S is a nonprofit security organization that drew nationwide attention last year after rolling out police-cruiser-like vehicles in New York City with the stated goal of enforcing Sharia law on Muslims and non-Muslims.
The organization currently has seven patrol cars, mostly patrolling the Brooklyn area. Organizers say they intend eventually to have up to 30 MCP&S cars on the streets of New York City.
The feud between the Bloods and MCP&S is seen as having crippled those expansion plans for the self-described Muslim security organization, whose stated purpose is to “protect members of the local community from escalating quality-of-life nuisance crimes.”
“They’ve been disrespected, bad. Now they’re going to face problems with the other gangs in Brooklyn who don’t want to see their cars on the streets,” a source said.

Personally, I believe that this happened, and I am glad to read that he was held accountable for what he did to that boy. There is no excuse for what the MCP “Officer “ did. The beat down hopefully will curb the tendency to do that in the future, although I seriously doubt it. Next time, it won’t be a beating, he will be dispatched to his eternal reward.
