The Christian Journal – Reverend Valerie Love is preparing to host the first “Christian witches” convention in Salem, Massachusetts, this April. According to CBN News, Love is both an “ordained Minister of Spiritual Consciousness” and a practicing witch.
According to her website, Love was raised in “the cult of Jehovah’s Witnesses” and after 26 years as a Jehovah’s Witness, she had a “magickal” awakening.
The founder of the Covenant of Christian Witches Mystery School and author of 15 books, wrote on her website that she has “always been ‘magickal’” and is a “born witch.” In 2013, Love published The Christian Witch’s Creed which has amassed a large following.
