The Daily Mail – A Maryland man with hatred of non-Muslim people is accused of plotting to drive a stolen U-Haul truck into a crowd at a Maryland convention and tourist destination center.
Police arrested Rondell Henry, 28, of Germantown, March 28 at the Waterfront complex in Prince George’s County, Md. Authoities allege Henry wanted to commit mass murder, and stole the U-Haul from a parking lot in Alexandria, Va., two days before arrest.
He held a deep-seated hatred for “disbelievers,” admitted to the plot in interviews with authorities, according to court documents seen by The Washington Post, and is charged with transporting a stolen vehicle, (no terrorism-related counts yet.)
