Middle school teacher reassigned after giving lesson plan that called Trump an “Idiot”

Lesson plan given to students in Florida middle school called Trump an idiot

A teacher at a Florida middle school has been reassigned after giving children a quiz that referred to President Donald Trump as an “idiot”.

The parent of a student at Duncan Middle School in Florida’s Palm Beach County became outraged when his daughter was provided with a test where the President is described as: “Republican; Real Estate businessman; Idiot.”

In a screen capture of the test, the enraged parent wrote to his social media followers, “This was an actual question on my daughter’s middle school test today. Furious. Going to raise some hell with the principle. Indoctrination will not continue.”

The Todd Starnes Radio Show was told by a spokesperson for the Palm Beach County School that the incident is under investigation. In a letter to parents, Principal Philip D’Amico said, “The question was inappropriate and demonstrated an unacceptable lack of good judgment on the part of the teacher.”

The principal further stated, “I apologize for this incident and for the offensive verbiage used in the question.”

‘An investigation is now underway,” the principal wrote, “and the teacher has been reassigned during this process. Because this is an open inquiry, I am not at liberty to share any additional details with you at this point.”

In an interview with WPTV, the outraged parent said, ‘I don’t believe opinions belong in the classroom whether religion, politics, ethnic background, any of those things.”

The teacher has been reassigned for the duration of the investigation, when an appropriate action would be undertaken.
