An “Islamic Hotel” has opened on the coast of Egypt’s Red Sea. The rooftop and one floor will be for women only but it’s not just about segregation.

“No alcohol, no smoking…and no bad habits are allowed,” said hotel manager Yasser Kamal.

The hotel is in need of repair and has yet to receive many guests, but some families are still attracted.

The manager wants a tourism revolution. On opening night, staff of the hotel smashed bottles of alcohol and poured out their contents.
