AI Is Not Evil. But The Wrong Hands Could Use It To Deceive Millions.

A cinematic 16:9 image of a towering humanoid android standing atop a rocky mountain, holding two ancient stone tablets engraved with the letters “A” and “I.” Dark storm clouds part overhead as beams of light shine down behind the machine, creating a dramatic, almost prophetic atmosphere. Below, a crowd of robed figures looks upward in awe, evoking imagery associated with Moses receiving the law on Mount Sinai, while symbolically exploring the rise of artificial intelligence as a new source of perceived authority.

For years, artificial intelligence sounded like something for Silicon Valley engineers, investors, and science fiction fans.

Not anymore.

Today, AI can generate fake voices, fake videos, fake news reports, and even lifelike digital personalities, all in seconds. What once looked like innovation is quickly becoming infrastructure for influence, surveillance, and control.

Christians should not panic. But we should pay attention.

The Bible warns that the last days will be marked by deception, counterfeit authority, and a world increasingly willing to trade truth for convenience. For the first time in history, humanity now possesses technology capable of spreading convincing deception across the entire globe in real time.

That does not mean artificial intelligence itself is evil.

Like any tool, AI can be used for good. In the right hands, it can help churches preserve teaching, organize knowledge, and strengthen communication. But in the wrong hands, or under the influence of those seeking power without God, the same technology could be used to manipulate populations, monitor behavior, silence dissent, and normalize dependence on artificial authority.

The real question is not whether AI is coming.

It’s whether Christians will recognize what kind of world it may be helping build before it’s too late.
