Amazon offers employees up to $4,000 if they travel over 100 miles to get an abortion

Amazon is doing its part to keep the destruction of human babies plentiful and frequent, offering reimbursement as a benefit to employees in the U.S. who have to travel away from anti-abortion states to destroy the children they have accidentally created.

The company is stressing that abortion is not the only procedure that makes staffers eligible for reimbursement. A message to Amazon’s workforce said that the company will pay up to $4,000 in travel expenses each year for treatments not available nearby.

Amid rising restrictions on abortion nationwide, a number of other woke, politically partisan companies have announced measures to ensure staff can still take part of one of the left’s most solemn and fiercely-defended sacraments.

Amazon’s new benefit is retroactive to Jan. 1, and according to the announcement, first reported by Reuters, the new benefits will cover treatments that are not available inside a 100-mile (161km) radius of an employee’s home.

Amazon confirmed the new benefit to the BBC and said it includes obesity treatment, cancer treatment, congenital anomalies from within 24 months of birth, mental health treatments, and inpatient substance abuse disorder services.

Amazon is one of the largest private-sector employers in the U.S., with more than a million full and part-time workers. Most of its workers are in California, Texas, and Washington state where its headquarters are located.

Amazon’s benefit expansion comes just after several Republican state governments passed laws restricting abortion access, and immediately after the unprecedented leakage of a Supreme Court opinion that raises the possibility that Roe v. Wade will be overturned in the summer of 2022.
