Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose youth, prettiness, fashion-consciousness and kooky leftism have been peddled by Democrats as intelligence and leadership ability, has declared capitalism is “not a redeemable system” for Americans, and represents the “absolute pursuit of profit” at all costs.
Expanding on her scholarly opinion, Ocasio-Cortez said: “Capitalism at its core, what we’re talking about when we talk about that is the absolute pursuit of profit at all human, environmental, and social cost.” Her wisdom was handed down in a Yahoo Finance interview on Feb. 3.
Ignoring the world-dominating economic powerhouse that the United Stated became, extending prosperity, freedom and security to hundreds of millions, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that capitalism empowers only a “very small group of actual capitalists,” who she said “have so much money that their money makes money and they don’t have to work.”
This is in contrast to Communism, which empowers a very small group of actual Communists, who stay in power by enslaving their countries and keeping “order” through deceit, terror and the imprisonment and murder of any opponent.
“They can control industry, they can control our energy sources, they can control our labor, they can control massive markets, that they dictate and can capture governments, and they can essentially have power over the many,” AOC said in a perfect description of Communist states, although she was claiming to describe “actual capitalists.”
“And to me, that is not a redeemable system for us to be able to participate in for the prosperity and peace for the vast majority of people.”
AOC also had an opinion on her leftist ally Facebook, proclaiming that she wants to break up the social media giant which began as a service to rate the hotness of freshman college girls.
In a moment of clarity she accused of having “completely corrosive ways.”
“Facebook should be broken up,” she declared. “We should pursue antitrust activity on Facebook.”
