As U.S. murders increase nearly 30%, Biden calls for an end to cash bail AND an end to gender ‘inequity’

Seemingly in a rush to outdo Barack Obama as the most harmful and noxious president in U.S. history, which is what his liberal and media constituency demand, Joe Biden is proposing eliminating cash bail for suspects, even as violent crime spirals across the country.

The reason of course is race, to a White House that sees the United States as nothing but the triumph of racism and white supremacy.

“We are also committed to increasing federal oversight and accountability for police departments and prosecutors’ offices to address systemic misconduct, including gender bias and sexual misconduct,” reads a portion of a 42-page White House report titled: “The National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality.”

“And we will work to end cash bail and reform our pretrial system, recognizing the harm these processes cause, particularly for Black women and families.”

The report calls for a “whole of government” approach to what it refers to as gender inequalities, to which with the authors apparently see ending law enforcement as a solution.

It all happens with no regard to what FBI data suggest is an unprecedented spike in violent crime, with the number of murders in the U.S. rising nearly 30 percent in 2020. It’s the largest single-year increase recorded since the FBI began tracking the statistic. The overall violent crime rate, which also includes assault, robbery and rape, rose 5 percent in 2020 compared to 2019.

Statistics in cities that have eliminated cash bail that show the probability of re-arrest rising 37 percent in those localities. Suspects were also more likely to miss court dates in cities that had done away with cash bail.
