The New Year does not look good for the Boy Scouts of America, and one conservative commentator says organization leaders have no one but themselves to blame.
The BSA struggles to address a formula of declining financial health in the wake of growing numbers of lawsuits over sexual abuse allegations.

Roberts blames the BSA “sharp turn to embrace” the LGBTQ agenda: homosexual and transgenders welcome as scout leaders and members. “As a result, they’ve left a trail of terror and endangered children everywhere,” Roberts said.
A Dec. 12 letter to employees signed by BSA scout executive Mike Surbaugh noted efforts to “explore all options available,” he wrote, to keep programs running as usual and stop child abuse generally.
Roberts take is that embracing the liberal sexual revolution’s interpretation of morality is already sullying children sexually, and that is not a good business as usual.
“They thought they could get away with perverting young children,” Roberts said. Now, “major consequences are rolling in, . . . Now the light of truth has penetrated the darkness of secrecy.”
The financial pattern of rising liability includes a nearly $1 million tab to the firm Ogletree Deakins in 2015, $3.5 million for 2016, and $7.6 million was the bill for 2017, according to Fox News reports.
Reports in The Wall Street Journal note that BSA hired the Sidley Austin law firm to look at chapter-11 protection against more and more lawsuits that stem from sexual abuse by scout workers and volunteers – homosexual abuse.
“This message should sound a warning siren loud and clear to any future group that wishes to embrace the LGBT culture at the expense of young children,” Roberts said.

“To put it simply – it won’t be tolerated,” she added. “No longer will conservatives be silent and stand down to the corruption of young children at the hands of twisted adults.”
Other betrayals of responsible morality in recent years include condom handouts at BSA national events, according to Roberts.
And in the wake of pretending to not be able to tell the difference between boys and girls anymore, the BSA has opened membership to females.
“The worst part of all is they have spent years tormenting young children by forcing their agenda onto them and corrupting their innocent nature,” Roberts concluded.
“It is twisted to put children in the hands of openly homosexual leaders, who have their own mental problems they need to work out,” she added.
“Thankfully the Boy Scouts are about to reap what they’ve sown, and it doesn’t look pretty. It’s only a matter of time before they are shut down for good.”
