Smelling blood in the water amid a highly irregular presidential election in which the media have virtually attempted to seize control of the country, Democrats are taking off the masks to reveal their totalitarian selves.
The Daily Wire reports that on the night of Nov. 18 David Atkins, a member of the Democratic National Committee ranted on Twitter about wanting to “deprogram” those who do not agree with him, and voted for President Trump. He further suggested doing it on an industrial scale, as to an enemy population after a bloody war:
The self-described Region 10 Director for the California Democratic Party tweeted a message reminiscent of repressive Communist states around the world: “No seriously…how *do* you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook? We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.”
In his campaign for a DNC seat Atkins called for the committee to “refuse to compromise on the issues,” yet he went on to claim that conservatives will not debate policy with the left, outlandishly labeling Trump supporters a “belligerent death cult.”
“This is not your standard partisan policy disagreement. This is a conspiracy theory fueled belligerent death cult against reality & 3basic decency. The only actual policy debates of note are happening within the dem coalition between left and center left.”==
