Islamic migrants trying to ‘Islamize the western world,’ Greeks saying

“Build the wall” seems to be sentiment that is spreading around the world, after nameless powers enabled mass Muslim migration into Europe just as they have opened gates of the U.S. to the Central American masses.

Hundreds of Greek villagers in the coastal area of Makrygialos are now taking to the streets in fury over the asylum-seekers they claim want to “Islamize the western world.” The region is one of many areas in Greece where the government is at odds with local communities over the housing of migrants, Mailonline reports.

Months after a new conservative administration took over and vowed to crack down on illegal immigration, deadlock has set in over where to house tens of thousands of asylum-seekers currently crowded into unsanitary camps on five islands near Turkey.

Despite an official capacity of 6,200, there are more than 38,000 people in the camps on Lesbos, Samos, Chios, Leros and Kos.

Island residents and their leaders have told the government that after five years absorbing the brunt of the European migration crisis, they will no longer accept thousands of asylum-seekers in their homeland.

The administration of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is trying to relocate thousands of migrants to other parts of Greece, but now many communities on the mainland are resisting.

“We are determined to defend our homeland. We will do anything to keep them out,” says Tasos Yiakoumis, a lawyer taking part in an anti-migrant protest in Makrygialos, a coastal village 280 miles north of Athens.

Some 300 people have gathered to protest against plans to house 200 asylum-seekers in a disused former home for the mentally ill.

“We know their plan, they want to Islamicise the entire western world. This shall not pass,” Yiakoumis shouted at a crowd through a megaphone.
