Lost in Space: Dem’s Ratings Drop. No Rescue in Sight.

The scene is set in a modern indoor room with warm lighting, filled with a diverse group of about 15 people standing and facing a large, vertical television screen mounted on a sleek black stand. The screen dominates the frame, displaying a bold red and blue graph titled "Democrat Party" in crisp white text at the top. The graph shows a steep, jagged line plunging downward from left to right, representing a dramatic decline in favorability ratings, with percentage markers along the vertical axis dropping from 49% to 29%. The crowd, casually dressed in jeans and sweaters, appears engaged--some with arms crossed, others pointing at the screen, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity. The room has neutral gray walls, a hardwood floor, and a few potted plants in the corners, giving it a cozy yet professional vibe. --ar 16:9 --v 6.1 Job ID: c950297e-d661-4118-8a9c-60cc4786392d

Shout Out Patriots with Martin Mawyer

Hello, everyone, and welcome to Shout Out Patriots. I’m Martin Mawyer, your host and the president of the Christian Action Network.

A warm welcome to all our new listeners joining us today, and a sincere thank you to our returning audience for your continued support. I’m grateful for your patriotism, and as today’s topic shows, you are part of a growing movement of common-sense Americans who are paying attention to what’s happening in this country.

Today, I’m going to throw some numbers at you. Now, I know people don’t like being bombarded with polling numbers like they’re dodging raindrops in a storm, but stick with me.

I’ve got some striking new polling data from CNN and NBC that reveals just how far the Democratic Party’s favorability has fallen.

According to surveys conducted in early March, the Democratic Party’s approval rating among Americans has dropped to 29 percent.

Now, when your approval rating has dropped below the temperature at which water freezes, you should check if your political strategy has turned to ice!

That’s the lowest it’s been since CNN began tracking this back in 1992—a 20-point decline since January 2021, when it stood at 49 percent. The NBC poll is no better, showing that just 27 percent of voters view the party positively, the lowest in their records since 1990.

What’s behind this slide? For one, Democrats seem to be struggling with their own identity, which is ironic when you think about it. The Dems are all about identity politics but can’t figure out their own.

When asked who best reflects the party’s core values, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came in first at 10 percent, with Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders trailing at nine and eight percent, respectively.

More than 30 percent couldn’t name anyone at all—one respondent simply said, “No one. That’s the problem.”

Inside the party, dissatisfaction is growing: just 63 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents still view their party favorably, down from 81 percent when President Biden took office.

Yet they picked AOC as their lifeboat. I suppose that’s better than Bernie Sanders, who would be their Titanic.

Here are some better numbers to throw at you.

By contrast, the Republican Party’s favorability rating is steady at 36 percent, with 79 percent approval among its base.

President Trump’s individual approval ratings sit between 42 and 44 percent, and his Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, is gaining popularity for its promise to cut federal spending, though some complain it’s moving faster than his Falcon 9 rockets.

What does this all mean?

The Democratic Party is adrift, grappling with low morale and no clear path forward, while Republicans are maintaining a strong footing.

These numbers are great news for those of us who value common sense and accountability in government.

And for those Democrats aimlessly drifting in space, don’t count on Musk sending a Falcon 9 to rescue you. You should learn how to navigate by the stars and not those Hollywood stars that took you out of this common-sense world in the first place.

That’s it for today’s segment. This is Martin Mawyer. Thank you for tuning in to Shout Out Patriots. Stay engaged, stay informed, and we’ll see you next time.
