Peggy Hubbard is the ghetto-born critic of BLM/AntiFa liberals; she is pro-cop, a PD retiree, pro-America, small-government conservative, and as a candidate for the U.S. Senate, the left’s newest nightmare.
Much like Republican Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, Hubbard grew up in a single-mother household, hers in Saint Louis, but one of eight siblings, they had a lot of help from strong Catholic grandparents.
Not all went the way of a straight arrow in her life. While serving in the U.S. Navy, she became pregnant out of wedlock and found herself in a Planned Parenthood clinic for a final solution to that problem.
But an ultrasound revealed to her a little heartbeat inside, and she rejected the idea of an abortion. An unborn daughter was not to pay the ultimate price for her mistakes.
As she refused, she had to physically resist Planned Parenthood employees who attempted to hold her down and force her into having the abortion. The experience of that fight would prove defining and decisive for the rest of her life to this day.
“When it comes to the sanctity of life, I am 100-percent pro-life — period — from conception to natural death,” Hubbard said in a statement to supporters.
“I believe every life is a precious gift from God, and deserves to be protected by government,” she added. “This isn’t a lip-service issue for me. In fact, I have lived it, personally, and I choose life.”
Since 1994, Hubbard has been married to her husband, Charles Hubbard, who she met when he was an officer with the Saint Louis Police Department and she was an officer of the local court.
Their blended family includes six children. The concepts of traditional family and values have had a rough ride in their lives, but that journey included restoration and reconciliation that she wants to bear forward in the U.S. Senate.
She assured supporters that she is translating that sense of cause into specific policy priorities she wanted to emphasize: for instance, specific initiatives to advance life principles.
“That’s why, if elected to the U.S. Senate, you can count on me to fight to defund Planned Parenthood — entirely — and also fight to end abortion on demand in America through passage of [Kentucky Senator] Rand Paul’s Life at Conception Act,” she said.

She is running against well-funded and entrenched Democrat Senator Dick Durban, who recently ran into a measure of controversy supporting infanticide-levels of extremes for pro-abortion leftist friends.
“In fact, his own church banned him from participating in Holy Communion, they said, due to his pro-abortion rights views,” Hubbard told supporters.
“Of course, folks shouldn’t be surprised Dick Durbin voted to allow the murder of newborn babies. After all, Dick Durbin and the Democrats are in the pocket of Planned Parenthood — the nation’s largest provider of abortion.”
Christians of Illinois with Durban’s pro-abortion extremism in their sights have a solid option in Hubbard, a woman who physically struggled against Planned Parenthood minions in her personal cause for life.
Hubbard is someone who can see the struggle as personal every time she thinks about her own daughter.
“With Dick Durbin under fire for his pro-abortion views, there’s never been a better time than now to go on the offensive,” Hubbard said.
Hubbard is additionally known for her part in denouncing the George-Sorros-funded left-wing extremist organizations Black Lives Matter and AntiFa following riots that tore her home-area apart in 2014.
Riots followed on the heels of the shooting death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, and the Hubbards knew Wilson as a personal friend. Wilson was wrongly accused, they knew.
The Hubbard family was personally impacted by the leftist agitation against police that included hurled objects and even fecal matter, and their activism defending fellow officer families made them well-known enemies of BLM/AntiFa militants.

I do not know MS Hubbard personally but her stated views mirror mine. We need more like her wiling to stand up and profess their values and religious beliefs that this country was founded upon. I donated to her campaign from Tennessee and hope others will do the same. She has a real shot at winning in Illinois.
