Petition seeks to block Jesus-as-a-woman film starring Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson appears as Jesus in the film 'Habit.' (Silver Heart Productions)

It is hard to imagine the film industry portraying Mohammed as a woman, or bending and distorting symbols that are dear to Jewish people, but Jesus remains fair game.

For example, a new movie called Habit, in which Paris Jackson, daughter of notorious dysfunctional pop star Michael Jackson, plays a female Jesus, is currently in production. More than 260,000 people have added their names to a petition seeking to block distribution of the film.

The movie finished filming just before the COVID-related quarantines and has been in post-production since April, producers told Fox News. In it, Jackson plays Jesus alongside model and actress Bella Thorne, who plays a woman with a “Jesus fetish” who poses as a nun to escape the consequences a drug deal.

A petition was created on that seeks to block the “blasphemous Hollywood film” for depicting Jesus as a “lesbian woman.” The promotional materials for the movie have made no mention of Jackson playing Jesus as a lesbian, however.

Nevertheless, more than 260,000 people have signed on to “wake people up to the Christianophobic garbage that is spread nowadays, but is somehow accepted and praised by society.”

Warner Bros. and Lionsgate are named in the petition as well.

A group called One Million Moms also started a petition to block the film – which it says “mocks Christianity and ridicules people of faith”– that’s already netted more than 70,000 signatures.
