San Diego teachers forced to attend ‘white privilege’ training, told they are racist

The documents, which were leaked by Rufo, show the outline of the discussion and the talking points, including how teachers must become 'anti racist' activists'

Just as an abusive spouse belittles and gaslights a partner into feeling guilty and wrong, at least one California school district is training its teachers that they are thoughtless, hate-filled racists.

The San Diego Unified School District is reportedly requiring that teachers undergo “white privilege” training in which they must commit to becoming “anti racist” and acknowledge that they meet on land stolen from Indigenous peoples.

That is, if you are white, you should be ashamed.

According to documents shared by journalist Christopher F. Rufo, teachers in the program are told to discuss how they would feel if they were told things like, “You are racist,” and “You are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies.”

Leaked by Rufo, the documents outline the talking points being used to recondition teachers’ thinking. Teachers must “confront and examine [their] white privilege,” acknowledge “white fragility” and “teach others to see their privilege.”

Teachers are told that they will feel “guilt, anger, apathy [and] closed-mindedness” during the sessions due to their “white fragility.”

The training tries to convince teachers that they are thieves and invaders, making them ” … acknowledge that we meet on stolen land, taken from Indigenous peoples. … We must acknowledge the hidden history of violence against Indigenous peoples in an effort to move towards justice.”

A request from DailyMail.com for comment by the San Diego Unified School District was not immediately returned on Dec. 6.

President Donald Trump condemned such “critical race theory” training in September and moved to end the training for federal government employees, stating that constiutes “divisive, anti-American propaganda.”
