What must a person do to prove that “black lives matter” to him?

Apparently “abolishing slavery in the United States” isn’t on the list.

A San Francisco school district is moving to rename a school named after Abraham Lincoln on the grounds that the Civil War-era president, issuer of the Emancipation Proclamation, did not demonstrate that “black lives mattered to him,” reports DailyMail.com.

The man behind the renaming – as well as that of 43 other San Francisco schools – is a first grade teacher who was influenced by his parents, both members of the Nation of Islam who set up their own Islamic school.

Regarded as an American hero for abolishing slavery, Honest Abe is only one of 44 historical figures who will soon have their names removed from schools in the San Francisco Unified School District.

The renaming of the schools comes as part of a nationwide leftist hysteria at the presidency of Donald Trump, although it is being disguised as a reaction to rampant official racism whenever an unruly black suspect is harmed by law enforcement, which is unfortunately often.

The tide of irrational activism has seen Confederate flags banned, military bases renamed and statues toppled across America over the last year.

The district’s renaming committee decided Lincoln is not worthy of keeping his name on Abraham Lincoln High School because “the majority of his policies proved to be detrimental to [Native Americans].”

“Abraham Lincoln is not seen as much of a hero at all among many American Indian Nations and Native peoples of the United States, as the majority of his policies proved to be detrimental to them,” the committee’s meeting notes state.

Jeremiah Jeffries, chairman of the renaming committee, has gained a reputation as a power-broker for the district’s Board of Education. It is he who is overseeing the name change for 44 of the district’s schools after his committee ruled the namesakes are inappropriate or racist.
