The real clash between out-of-control government and the people who employ them is emerging at local school board meetings, and school officials are already panic-signaling to big government that they are in danger.
The National School Boards Association sent a letter to the White House on Sept. 29 begging for FBI and Secret Service protection from “mobs” of parents furious about vaccine mandates and mask requirements for their children, who are at minimal risk of death from COVID.
In the letter, viewable at dailymail.com, the anger of parents highly concerned about their rights and their children is referred to as “domestic terrorism” on the part of “extremist hate organizations.”
The association represents more than 90,000 school officials across the U.S. They are under “immediate threat” from “acts of malice, violence, and threats.”
The plea was signed by NSBA President Viola Garcia and Interim Executive Director and CEO Chip Slaven, and it implores Biden personally to use executive powers to mobilize FBI and U.S. Secret Service agents against regular Americans seeking involvement in decisions about the wellbeing of their children.
Citing “threats or actual acts of violence” against school staff, the letter alleges that “angry mobs” have hindered officials as they try to hold school board meetings.
“As these threats and acts of violence have become more prevalent, NSBA respectfully asks that a joint collaboration among federal law enforcement agencies, state and local law enforcement, and with public school officials be undertaken to focus on these threats.”
The appeal states that the menacing atmosphere is “impacting the delivery of educational services to students and families,” and causing the resignation of school board members and other staff.
Therefore, government muscle is needed to come in and bust some heads.
One of the protests mentioned in the NSBA’s letter, a board meeting in Gwinnett County in Atlanta back in May, was halted by Board Chair Everton Blair after a group of peaceful parent protesters fighting for their kids’ rights to not have to wear masks during the upcoming school year, refused to don masks.
Meetings in Georgia and Nevada cited in the letter both involved parents protesting mask mandates, and boards suspending meetings so that parents could not be heard.
