Just as the religion of Judaism was attacked and officially sanctioned in mid-twentieth century Europe, leading to eventual incarceration and slaughter, so are Christian employees of a big U.S. health insurer now being targeted for none other than … “religious privilege.”
As companies as large as Coca-Cola try to train white employees to be “less white,” health insurance company Cigna is subjecting staff to far-left critical race theory training and discouraging consideration of white men for job openings, leaked documents and chat logs reveal.
The documents were obtained by the Washington Examiner.
Cigna employees told the Examiner that they are compelled to take sensitivity training they see as racist and discriminatory. Concepts such as “white privilege,” “gender privilege,” and something called “religious privilege” are all targeted in the training.
“Religious privilege” is described as “a set of advantages that benefits believers of a certain religion but not people who practice other religions or no religions at all.”
Workers say they are force to comply with “inclusive language” schemes that require replacing terms like “Brown Bag Lunch” with the oddly out-of-synch terms “lunch-and-learn” or “grab n’ go.” They are also told to avoid the phrase “No can do,” and to avoid “gendered” terms for romantic partners or family members and not to use “Hip Hip Hooray” at birthday parties.
Questions such as “Do you even know what Facebook is?” and “Are you a nurse?” are disallowed. Employees are also given a “Societal Norms checklist” and check boxes if they are “White,” “Christian,” or “Heterosexual.”
“Our inclusive culture at Cigna means that we’re working hard to ensure everyone feels respected, welcome, and like they belong,” wrote Susan Stith, the Cigna Foundation’s vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion, and corporate responsibility, in an internal memo.
Unless you are white, Christian, and/or male. The lessons of the sensitivity training seminars, some employees allege, apply to the hiring process as well, with white qualified white applicants being thrown out an nonwhites accepted with virtually no scrutiny.
