If any doubt remains that American public schools have lost their mission and become perverts’ playgrounds, a free “transgender wellness conference” attended by staff of Philadelphia’s school district ought to dispel it.

The annual event was conducted online and was organized by the Mazzoni Center, and is devoted to spreading and enabling the LGBTQ lifestyle in Philadelphia. The school district, headed by Superintendent William Hite, invited teachers and school staff by email to attend and “learn more about the issues facing the trans community.”

What followed was three days of extremely graphic activities that most likely had little to do with teaching children about math, reading, spelling, geography, history, science or anything else that is in the purview of schools or education.

Instead, teachers and school staff got virtual sessions were held on topics including sex-change surgery, “prosthetics for sex,” sex toys, and consent.

Christopher Rufo wrote in a story for City Journal that attendees included school-age students. According to Rufo, one of the hosts said: “There’s no age limit, because I feel like everybody should be able to access certain information.”

The audience heard from a surgeon who removes female breasts and said he would discuss the procedure with children as young as ten, with parental consent. Another session discussed puberty-blocking hormones and physical breast-binding to “masculinize” adolescent girls. Still another had instructors discussing various “kinks” including fetishes about puppies, spanking and Mary Poppins.

“I haven’t gotten to explore a lot of my mommy kink. And I think for tonight I’m really wanting to feel cared for, but also get punished a little bit,” said an instructor called Jamie Joy.

The session was led by a self-obsessed transgender called Lucie Fielding, who is “white, queer, kinky, polyamorous, visibly able-bodied, Jewish, witchy, non-binary, trans femme.”

All to educate your children.

The School District told City Journal that participating in the event shows its commitment to “creating equitable and inclusive environments.”
