The New York Post reports today that the feds have arrested a Brooklyn man after “allegedly threatening local and national politicians online because he was upset about the outcome of the presidential election.”
What he wrote online was not disclosed. But his name, Brendan Hunt, and where he works, the NY Office of Court Administration, were revealed. After authorities raided his home yesterday he was charged with making terroristic threats.
Mr. Hunt was promptly taken into custody.
On the same day, the Daily Wire revealed that Retired Air Force Colonel Moe Davis, a failed Democrat congressional candidate, also made an online threat, but has not been arrested.
Col. Davis wrote an inflammatory tweet targeting Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), whom he lost to in November, saying that it was time to “start a domestic war” on “American terrorists.”
It’s not the first threat Moe Davis has issued online.
On September 11, 2019 he wrote that when the North Carolina GOP “go low, we stomp their scrawny pasty necks with our heels and once you hear the sound of a crisp snap you grind your heel hard and twist it slowly side to side for good measure. He needs to know who whupped his ass.”
I know what you’re thinking. Why was the Brooklyn Trump supporter arrested for making an online terrorist threat, but not Democrat Moe Davis?
You already know the answer, don’t you?
We’re about to live in a society where radical democrats can threaten the lives of Trump supporters with legal impunity, but Trump supporters will have to keep their mouths shut or have their homes raided and carted off to jail.
