The Sun – A documentary, Generation Porn, highlights how social media, particularly Twitter, are not covered by upcoming legislation to require porn websites make users confirm they are 18 or older. Children can use accounts without age verification and view pornography on Twitter.
Joe Todd, boss of UK porn film brand Fake Taxi, told the show parents need to be aware how easy it is for their children to by-pass the restrictions.
Todd said, “They don’t need to go onto a porn site. A lot of people don’t realize about Twitter, it’s one of the biggest porn sites in the world. A 13-year-old boy can just sign up with a new account with no age verification.”
