Christian Action Network Exclusive. Radical Islamic cleric Siraj Wahhaj has reportedly rejected a tentative peace agreement between a lieutenant of his Muslim Community Patrol & Services (MCP&S) and a notorious Bloods gang member.

Had the peace deal been accepted, MCP&S would have agreed to stop patrolling certain areas in Brooklyn, N.Y., home to a notorious faction of the Bloods gang.  In exchange, the Bloods would have agreed to inflicting no further violence on members of Imam Wahhaj’s Masjid Taqwa in Brooklyn, which is largely seen as controlling MCP&S.

The feud between the two groups began the evening of Dec. 10 when an MCP&S “patrolman” threw a teenage boy against a fence for allegedly disrespecting a Muslim woman at the Masjid Taqwa. The boy happened to be the son of an “Original Gangster” of the Bloods.

A few days later a Muslim man was severely beaten outside the mosque, home to Siraj Wahhaj, in what was understood to be a retaliatory attack.

Following the retaliation, MCP&S asked for a parley with the Bloods gang, which had labeled the mosque and MCP&S as “food” for the gang’s notorious “dogs.”

This “sit down” was held Dec. 21, with five MCP&S representatives, led by Ali Karim, meeting with six Bloods members at the home of the father of the teen who was thrown against the fence by the MCP&S member.

The Bloods originally demanded that Ali Karim, who serves directly beneath Imam Siraj Wahhaj, turn over the MCP&S member who roughed up the teen, or at least give them his address. Only then, the Bloods stipulated, would violence against Masjid Taqwa and MCP&S be suspended.

The controversial Imam, Siraj Wahhaj, has reportedly rejected an agreement to stop the violence between the Bloods and Muslim Community Patrol & Services.

Karim dismissed that demand and asked for an alternative peace plan that would involve MCP&S agreeing to stop sending their police-cruiser-style patrol vehicles into the Bloods’ neighborhood. Karim also told the Bloods that the MCP&S member who attacked the boy had been fired.

Ali Karim is second in command of MCP&S, responsible for hiring patrolmen, supervising the group’s marked patrol vehicles and assigning duties to “officers.” Karim does not hold an official title with the nonprofit organization, which has repeatedly been accused of trying to enforce Sharia law in the city.

Though the Bloods agreed to Karim’s alternative solution, the plan still needed the approval of Imam Siraj Wahhaj to be finalized.

When presented with the proposal, Wahhaj, well known for his desire to replace American law with Islamic law, rejected the agreement and told Karim to turn the address of the ex-MCP&S member over to the Bloods.

Those close to Imam Wahhaj believe the controversial religious leader rejected the agreement because he does not trust that the Bloods would keep their word and end the violence.

“The Bloods can’t be trusted for anything,” a source familiar with both the Bloods and Wahhaj told Christian Action Network.

“Wahhaj doesn’t believe them. The Bloods will say they will stop attacking his mosque members and his MCP&S workers, but they’re not going to stop simply because his cars aren’t patrolling their neighborhood any more. They’re going to want blood, that’s why they call themselves the Bloods. The Bloods probably won’t stop even if they turn that boy’s (the ex-MCP&S worker’s) address over to them.”

Though the source disagreed with Wahhaj’s decision to turn over the address of the ex-MCP&S worker, he said, “Wahhaj believes sometimes you have to sacrifice the one to protect the whole. He’s got to protect his mosque members and he’s got to protect his MCP workers.  And if that means someone has to go missing-in-action to achieve that peace, he believes that’s the right thing to do.”

At the time of this report, Ali Karim has not turned over the address of the ex-MCP&S employee to the Bloods and hopes a better solution can still be found.

  1. Why is this legal for them to operate as police officers?
We are not sharia Law in America, these are nothing but a bunch of thugs that need to be stopped, at least the bloods don’t put up with their garbage, more Americans need to Unite against this vile actions of the mcp

  2. I pray for peace for both sides. I hate gangs and I hate radical Islam. And I also pray for the former MCP&S member and his family. Look, he made a mistake and it should be conducted through a legal channel. The Bloods will surely over-punish him and his family and it’s not justice. And lastly, why not just give him grace? He’s already fired. Give him another chance.
