Martin Mawyer, President
If things go the way Nancy Pelosi wants them to, President Trump will face Articles of Impeachment on the charge of “Incitement of Insurrection.” According to Rep. Jamie Raskin, a Democrat from Maryland, some House Republicans are expected to join the political bloodbath as well.
“We strongly believe some GOP legislators will vote for the Articles of Impeachment based on what they informed us confidentially,” Raskin told Forbes.
On the Senate side, Republicans Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Pat Toomey (Pa.) and Ben Sasse (Neb.) have also voiced interest in impeaching Trump. Sen. Mitt Romney, who has become nearly indistinguishable from a Democrat, is probably just days away from joining their gang.
Of lesser import, with no visible stake in the game, former Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said “if inciting to insurrection isn’t impeachable, then I don’t really know what is.”
The Democrats’ motive for this hyped-up 2021 impeachment rush is obvious to all. They want Trump gone, forever.
If impeachment is successful (and somehow constitutional, which is highly debatable) Trump will be forbidden from running again for the presidency for the rest of his natural life.
Nancy Pelosi revealed this as impeachment’s ultimate motive to Lesley Stahl on CBS’s 60 Minutes on Jan. 10: “And that’s one of the motivations that people have for advocating for impeachment,” she confirmed.
It would be an astounding victory for the Democrats, who have been maniacally obsessed for the last few years with finding a way – any way – to nullify the 62 million votes of Trump’s 2016 supporters.
First they tried challenging Trump’s mental health. Then the Democrats attempted to get rid of the people’s choice by pushing fabricated Russian collusion conspiracies and, when that didn’t work, two impeachment efforts, one in 2017 and another in 2019 .

If we are to believe a plethora of accusations from reputable analysts like Assistant to the President Peter Navarro, those dirty but unsuccessful tricks were followed by the rigging of the 2020 elections to effectively kill off 74 million votes the second time around.
“The election was stolen from Donald J. Trump,” Navarro wrote in his Navarro 2020 Election Report. The report also called the 2020 election “the biggest political scandal in American history.”
Regardless of the veracity of these statements, one would think the Democrats would be joyful that their man (Joe Biden) and woman (Kamala Harris) are on track to take office on Jan. 20, 2021.
Apparently that’s not enough joy for them, though. On that same day, impeachment number three for President Trump is expected to move forward in the Senate.
This is where the interests of the Democrats and some Republicans begin to merge.
The Democrats, obviously, don’t want another election battle with the very popular Donald Trump or to have the nation witness his loyal supporters once again waving flags, holding boat parades, wearing MAGA hats or showing up at his rallies in the thousands.
But consider the far worse, almost insurmountable problem that Republicans face if Trump is ever allowed to run for president again.
Already the GOP has to worry about future election shenanigans. If those allegations of voter fraud, malfeasance and corruption are true (as this writer believes), Republican candidates will be haunted by an ominous warning contained in the Navarro 2020 Election Report:
“This nation runs the very real risk of never being able to have a fair presidential election again.”
If enough Trump supporters hold this statement to be true, that will be the fatal blow.
Because, will Trump loyalists bother donating to a Republican presidential candidate if they think elections have been permanently rigged against them?
Will these patriots waste their time going door-to-door, making phone calls, drumming up support for their favorite Republican candidate if they believe the fix is already in for the Democrat challenger, from here on out?
Why vote at all if your vote is going to be flipped, trashed, not counted, buried under a pile of fake, illegal or uncured ballots, or magically un-cast inside a Dominion voting machine?
As you can see, future Republican candidates for the White House have enough to worry about without the man who previously was biggest threat all: Donald Trump.
As long as Trump remains in good health, he can throw his hat into the Republican presidential primaries for years to come, where everyone knows that no other Republican candidate will have the magnetism to stand in his way.
Unless, of course, Trump is impeached or imprisoned or both, and legally barred from ever occupying the White House as president again.
It’s no secret than the Republican establishment hates Trump. They want him gone just as much as their colleagues on the other side of the aisle do, and not solely because they hate his policies, plain-spoken opinions, executive orders and America-first patriotism.
They hate him most because of his 74 million die-hard followers, who guarantee that their favored guy or gal will never be nominated to seek the presidency as long as Trump keeps reaching up to his head to pitch his MAGA cap into the race.
If he’s impeached, on the other hand, he’s gone forever. That would be a cause of celebration for the Democrats as well as a hangover cure for Washington’s Bush-league RINOs.
America’s newly minted socialist oligarchy, made up of big tech, big businesses, the media, Democrats and RINOS, will finally get the gift they’ve always craved: The power to deny patriotic Americans their legal right to ever vote for Trump again.
The steal won’t be complete until they do so.
Does those fools think that even if they did all their plans Trump Warriors will flip and betray President Trump? I , for one, and I’m quite sure that there are others, that President Trump will REMAIN President to US! If they take their plan forward they WILL canonize President Donald J Trump in all history forward as “The Greatest President this Nation Has EVER seen in all its history” hmmm bet that would “flatline” their hold on America. Well, it common knowledge democrats are as bright as a burnt out light bulb! Stock up on flashlights, DC!!
Unfortunately this time I disagree with Mr. Mawyer as I did want Trump impeached WHILE HE WAS STILL IN OFFICE. People have asked my why because I supported him and voted for him so here’s my answer.
If Donald Trump could have been impeached, this time it would be a legitimate Impeachment trial unlike the first one that was phony. President Trump would have had the Supreme Court being forced to see all of the evidence instead of refusing to even hear it, his lawyers would have shown everything that they have, Sidney Powell would have presented her evidence and Donald Trump would have had an open microphone. That’s why!
