A split-screen, 16:9 conceptual graphic comparing the United States presidential election systems, titled "The Electoral College: State-by-State Representation" on the left and "National Popular Vote: One Nation, One Count" on the right. * Left Side (Electoral College): A vibrant, traditional map of the United States with clearly defined state boundaries. The states are color-coded in blocks of solid blue, red, and orange, labeled with state abbreviations and their corresponding electoral vote numbers (e.g., "Calif. 54", "Texas 40", "NY 28"). A legend at the bottom defines the colors as "Dem," "Rep," and "Swing" next to "538 Total EV." * Right Side (National Popular Vote): The same map of the United States, but the individual state boundaries are faded, dissolving, and being absorbed into a single, dominant deep purple color labeled "National Winner (Popular Vote)." Bright, glowing streaks of light and particle waves flow inward toward major, glowing population centers along the coasts and metropolitan areas, while smaller, less populated states appear to shrink or recede into the background. A glowing, jagged vertical line separates the two contrasting concepts down the center of the image.
