The Daily Mail – Donald Trump predicted Thursday that he will win Minnesota in 2020 because the state has waged a war on the Pledge of Allegiance. The city council in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, voted last month to drop the procedural rule mandating the council say the pledge at the start of every session.
The president claims the move shows disloyalty to America, while the council said it made the unanimous decision to ditch the pledge so it could serve a more diverse community.
“The Pledge of Allegiance to our great Country, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, is under siege,” Trump tweeted. “That is why I am going to win the Great State of Minnesota.
