Democrat media darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been a special kind of person ever since she burst on the enraged-liberal-woman-of-color scene, and her specialness apparently extends to being able to block her critics on Twitter even when President Donald Trump very publicly cannot.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez continues to block several critics on the platform despite losing a recent lawsuit to a man who said she was violating the First Amendment by preventing him from interacting with her.
The congresswoman from New York, after apologizing earlier this week for blocking former Brooklyn Assemblyman Dov Hikind, unblocked him but did not do the same for others. As of Saturday four conservatives were still barred from weighing in on her account.
Still blocked were Harry Cherry, a 20-year-old former journalist with the Twitter handle @TheHarryCherry; Niraj Antani, a right-wing Ohio lawmaker who goes by @NirajAntani; Liz Wheeler, host of the right-wing One American Network who uses @Liz_Wheeler, and Ryan Saavedra, an activist and reporter for the Daily Wire.
The conservative Daily Caller news site also was prevented from looking in on posts made by Ocasio-Cortez, the New York Post reported.
Controversial Republican congressional candidate Joseph Saladino (AKA YouTube prankster Joey Salads) joined Hakind in suing AOC during the summer her blocking activity on Twitter, after President Donald Trump was told by the courts he couldn’t do the same.
Hikind, a fellow Democrat, said he was blocked after ridiculing AOC’s comparison of migrant detention centers in the U.S.A. to German World War II concentration camps.
He and Saladino filed their suits in July in the wake of a court ruling which said Trump was not allowed to block his own critics.
