To read the tweets of one abortion-providing doctor who is a “fellow” with the pro-abortion nonprofit Physicians for Reproductive Health, women can be reluctant to get a second abortion … because it’s a bit embarrassing.

Many abortion supporters say they do not favor the macabre procedure as a form of birth control. But judging by the tweets of Joe Nelson, M.D., there are at least some women who need to come and end a pregnancy so many times that they can be “often quite embarrassed.”

Nelson, who calls himself “a family physician” yet has tweeted with the hashtag #ShoutYourAbortion, said it’s a “huge compliment” when patients overcome their embarrassment at having another innocent life to terminate.

“Every single day, I see patients who I’ve seen before for abortion services but end up with another undesired pregnancy,” Nelson tweeted last week. “When they come back, they are often quite embarrassed to be in that position again and are worried we might be judging them. We don’t.

“In fact, as a family physician who does exclusively abortion work now, it makes my day to see a familiar face,” Nelson continued. “Those of us who do this work understand that this can happen to anyone at any time, and we take it as a huge compliment if you trust us with your care again.”

According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, there were 862,000 abortions performed in the United States in 2017.

Physicians for Reproductive Health is a nonprofit that asks for donations to help give doctors “the training and support they need to fight the unrelenting attacks on our bodies, our families, and our communities.”
