Alec Rooney
lec has spent nearly thirty years in print and online journalism, working as a writer and editor for large newspapers in Tennessee, Florida and Virginia. He earned his BA in English from the University of the South in 1986 and an M.A. in English from the University of Kentucky in 1989. He started work with CAN in 2015, primarily as a publications editor. A Kentucky native, he has two children and resides with his wife in southwest Virginia.
